I know..

my leland ones worked great.. but I would need to bulk order more of them...

That combined with wholesale cost 12 grams from work = just more ecnomical to slighly alter something I have already

Ok a little history lesson here, not for you for me. The Bushmaster Dlx was a bore drop marker. The SI Fieldmaster however was breech drop. That being said how far back was the feedhole on a Fieldmaster as opposed to the Deluxe?

Okay..... So my 12 gram issue problem has been sourced

The original lever body was miss milled... the slot was cut slightly high on
one end and of course I never checked to see that before milling the other one....

Oh well.

Itd be bout 3/4-1 inch further back, but I could be wrong, since I only have a skirmish and a maverick to compare...I don't think the boredrop maverick is the same size as a bushie..... pics of the fieldmaster?

I'm gonna say mutt.. Given that the Asa has a diff look to it compared to the SI units I've seen in this thread, and given that its got 007 frame instead of the SI trigger frame.....tho it could've been a conversion, details of it doesn't sound like a Deluxe or original to me.
