Thanks for the offer guys but I posted in "What is this" and discovered its likely another Nelson clone like a Bloodsucker or something. Had my fingers crossed it was a bushy but no dice.

Thank you for the help though! I hope to own one some day!

Aarrrgh! I forgot to hop on ebay and bid! And I missed this steel of a deal! I had actually offered the seller $100 for it before it was bid on but he didn't accept the offer till someone (the winning bidder) had already bid on it... any other day I wouldn't have missed it but hopefully it went to a lucky MCB member? Whoever it was I think got a pretty good deal, even for a pre-90s Bushy!

It even had a lever changer...

I got a bushmaster deluxe a little while ago and it has a freak bored barrel. Right now it has a 689 insert and I'll definitly be getting much smaller inserts soon. I mesured the front bolt and it mesures .685 for the first 1/8"(explaining the stickage feel when I borrowed a 682 insert) then goes down to .670 for the rest of it. The question is, is there anything I should be aware of before I turn it down smaller? I'm thinking of turning it down to 0.675" for the smallest freak insert. Would this be bad?
