They were trying even back then to match the bore to the paint, so they decided to develop bores to match the most common paints used at that time - Nelson and RPS.

OOOOHhhhhh.....

Gotcha! On the MII's CASL advertised the two barrel sizes as "Summer" and Winter".

They also advertised that the barrel was in 3-point round. I'm glad they put all of that effort into the barrel, cause it sure does shoot straight (and loud).

I remember when they came out a few guys i played with bought them. Pretty good gun. Ive got a bunch of ads and a review in some old magazines.

Another interesting fact...the stepped barrel front was made that way to accommodate both Nelson and Sheridan style "raincovers".
