Nerlson Gun Parts, anybody still making them?

is anyone still making Nelson parts?
i know Phantoms and Grey Ghost's are Nelsons but if i want to build a Nelson based gun,
turning my own body and so on from the ground up
is there anyone still making new parts?

Valves
Power Tubes
Hammers
Bolts
Trigger Groups

is "NEW OLD STOCK" the best that can be hoped for?
would i have to replicate most of the parts myself or can these still be picked up off the shelf somewhere?
would i be better off just buying some of the new Tracers and upgrading them?

BTW,
anyone know if the copper anodizing of this one i have was factory?
serial number: 093182

if you have any links please post them here along with the date you post it so later readers can figure out if the source may have dried up.

If I remember correctly, I think Legion(don't quote me, could be someone else) was making nelson parts since he already knew how from the black mamba build. Alot of phantom parts will fit your needs though, which is probably a good place to start.

It's not really a question of what do I need,
I'm trying to come up with a marker design that is ultra simple
that I can install into Wood Stocks.
having taken a part and really examined my Trracer,
and getting a full grasp of just what goes into a PneuMag...
I've brainstormed up a marker based on the Nelson Valve, but
if there is no steady supply, i think I'm going to have to come up with
a different design.

Nelson Parts

LK,
I've built a couple of my own also, trying to stay original wherever I could. PITA!!! lol, but way fun Check out the sticky above for buying pump parts.

My advice, if you only want to build a few, then use whatever you can get your hands on for parts. There are still some people that have "old" new parts kicking around, some of them just need (constant) reminding to look for them lol, so there is no real good flow of parts. Between here, the PHOG, and ebay, I got most of what I needed fairly cheap.

BUT, if you want to have a steady supply of parts stick with somethign still in production. I've ordered tons of parts from Mike at CCI over the years, never a problem getting parts from him. If you can find a parts supplier for the Maverick/Trracer line (is it 2 r's or 2 c's? I can never remember lol), they might be potentially cheaper. Colin over at LAPCO might also be another source, maybe HaveBlue at airsoldier (not sure what he still has in stock for old school stuff anymore)......I'll go through my tool box and see what other shipping receipts I have in there and how old they are lol.

Another option (my personal fav!) is to go haunt the older shops/fields in your area. I know the guys in London used to run pumps a long time ago, didn't play much down your way when I was in Toronoto. Some of the older outfits have more stuff "in the back" than most of them realize, just be nosey.
And have fun!!

For your bronze Trracer, I remember seeing a few of them back in .... 94? I vaugely remember green ones.....Not sure where they came from though... wondering though if I'm not mixing up Spyder Hammers?
