CO2 or Compressed on my Sterling

Playing with all these guns makes me nuts..i need a little help on some things
Was the new Sterling designed for CO2 or Compressed..When i use nitro it lacks the pop and i feel i lose distance,,But gain more shoots on the field..When using a 20oz co2 tank My gun rips but get alot less shoots in regards to the nitro.
Any tricks for tuning a Sterling to proform well on nitro of just stick with co2.

Are you sure you're shooting at the same velocities between the two tanks? Compressed air tanks are regulated at ~800 psi (Or lower for low pressure markers.), but most CO2 tanks aren't regulated at all and the pressure going into your marker can vary between 600-1200 psi depending on the temperature. Your velocity could be much higher with CO2 if it's a hot day and you will get more distance and that pop.
