Fit standard bottomline on a STP'08 stockclass? i've come across a brand new used sterling STP 08, the stockclass kind which has .45 gripframe and air pulled through the gripframe. Om Sterling Pump my question: is it possible to put on a standard bottomline (with external macroline ofc)? havent gotten the marker yet, but it looks like the air connector to the marker, the "q-nector" is some kind of special fitting. can a macroline fitting be used, or there are other kinds of these "q-nectors"? reason i want to switch is cause im not sure i totally dig the huge angle on the current asa. is it otherwise possible to find a bottomline with a connector to keep the internal air fittings? |
A standard bottomline hole pattern will line up..But the STP has a new style connect.Youwill need to have the donkey tapped to fit macroline fittings. Also once you rerun the lin you will no l0nger be able to use the in grip line. here's mine. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...0/DSC00709.jpg |
ok, thx for the info. it was actually quite comfy to play with the original asa, so i think i will keep it that way.only issue im having is that the tank is hard as hell to screw into the asa, due so it becoming pressurized almost instantly, i like on/offs better :) |

What you can do is drill a pressure release hole like on a reg bottom line.... |
