So how well does this mod work compared to the detent rings?
I'd really like to send in my body and I also want to stop dealing with detent rings altogether lol

I am really looking forward to this mod. Have Blue is adding an Ego clamping feedneck and these detents to an OC body I bought from his store. I can't wait.

EDIT: To the above poster, I would say this works far better than the rings, and will be far less hassle. I have my barrels bored for Freaks anyways, but I figure it was cheap enough to add to the OC body I wanted, and it will help with finicky field paint.

Probably could, but hadn't considered any others. Was there one you had in mind?

just got mine back from have blue and the mod is remarkable in its effectiveness ,marvels in performance, and is very pleasing to the eye. No all b.s. aside i strongly suggest that everyone have this done to their phantoms, as a matter of fact i'm getting ready to send my c.f. body into him to have it done. Say goodbye to detent rings ,double feeds, and underboring fragile paint to prevent rollouts.

because they sell them as quick as they ship them to stores without it. They dont need to change it because no one complains about it and they continue to buy phantoms.
