| MQ valved Sniper? Hello pump gurus, I have an early (1994ish) cocker body that I am finally completing as a sniper II. I just had a ridiculous idea of putting in an MQ valve system. I'm not exactly sure what their capabilities are since I've never seen one, but it seems to me that there would be 2 possible advantages. 1.) Smoother pump stroke due to no springs and seer drag. 2.) Possible electronic autotrigger by wiring in a switch that would only be closed when the pump was all the way forward. Have this switch interrupt the trigger circuit so that you could hold the trigger down and the marker would fire every time the pump stroke closed. I think the back block would be a great place in which to install such a switch. Am I crazy for having these thoughts? Would that valve even fit such an old cocker body? What electronic grip frame would I need to get to be compatible with the old autococker? Anyone who has any real experience with these valves feel free to encourage me or shatter my silly dreams. -Calvin

| Your pump would effectivly remove the cocking aspect, and just load balls into the barrel. It would give you an electro trigger pull, but at a huge cost, Plus you could sit and shoot all day long and only fire one ball. At that point, you could just convert a spyder to a pump and have the same effect, but much cheaper. MQ valves arent sold anymore, and are hard to get now.
