I'M BLIND! ! ! ! I'M BLIND! ! ! IT'S TOO BRIGHT! ! ! !

No more hiding in the dark for you apparently....

Slick looking job and a huge improvement over the worn and patch look in the first few photos.

Nice handiwork Druid. Did you put anything on it after polishing it?

lmao.....thanks. No, I didn't put anything on her yet...there are still a few spots I need to work on here and there but the bulk of the grime and paint is gone now. Once I'm done though, I'll be putting a coat of Turtle Wax on her (or something similar). I just wanted to see what the concensus was. Oh, and now I can read the serial number...it's I-072199 and it's a P-Series. I don't know if I want to leave her like this or "Punish" her.....lol.

FWIW I've had great luck on polished aluminium bicycle parts with Eagle brand Wet One car wax. It has a very, very light polishing agent in it that'll remove just a hair of metal (the aluminium made the cloth go black) but it comes out super nice with no noticable swirl marks like I've had with past products. The bicycle parts I did with it shed the winter rains for a good two seasons of Pacific North"WET" winters so that's high praise indeed. But as always whatever you use be sure to test in an inconspicuous spot first.
