Cool Building a Pre 99 Left feed sniper and have a part question...

I am building this sniper. I need the thing the the HPA reg or 12 gram bucket changer screws into. Is it called the IVG? Or the vert ASA? I seem to recall it being called both. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also, does anyone know the correct bolt size that is uses to attache it to the body? Also, does anyone know where I can pick one up? Thanks and any help is appreciated.

It's called a vert asa. The ivg is threaded in behind the cocking rod in the back in the lower tube. I just got one off of Big Daddy T from his sale thread here: Ever Changing Sale - BDT's at it Again so that I could mill out the one part so I could easily switch between pump and the pneumatics. If he doesn't have any left, I may be willing to sell you the uncut one. Just pm me in that instance.

As for the bolt, I believe it is a special one that lets air go through it, so you will have to find an actual one most likely.

Cool

Thanks for the link. I will PM him about it. The bolt hole is seperate from the air hole and the bolt hole is side by side with the air hole so it doesnt have to be hollow.

Yep, I forget the threads on it, but I know the head is a 14-point torx.

I have a spare dust black ASA and a spare ASA bolt, give me a PM if you still need them, just cover shipping and paypal fees and they are yours. McB *heart*.

Cool

I do have a dust UL back that I could use. But it is a newer one and the newer UL's have a slightly larger diameter. Sometimes they rub the pump handles. I will probably just buy this gun its own DYE barrel and have everything match annoed later on down the road.

That is beautiful, it looks very nice.

When you put a vertical ASA on is there anything else you need to hook up, or do you just screw it in?

you can check out my wgp parts at my website below for the screw you are looking for. I might have the vertical ASA in stock also, I just haven't taken the pictures for it yet.

Cool

You just screw it in. Then you can use a 12 gram bucket changer or a HPA reg on the marker. I have a brand new CP reg for when I run HPA and a CCI 12 gram changer if I go stock class.

AmericanPaintball> Thanks. I already found one last night here in the Misc BST area and he shipped it out today. But thanks again for the offer.

It turns out that I already had one in my parts box "DUH" but I dont have the screw for it and it is pretty beat up. LOL.
