CCM Series 5 RF

I was truely blessed to come into possesion of this marker. "Christmas came early" for me to say the least. It's not an SS-25, but a brand spanking new right hand feed Series 5 from Chipley.

Here's some close ups of both the right and left hand sides of the body and also a close up of the direct feed port.

Obviously it much more bulky then the Nelspot based markers that I've mainly been playing w/ in the past, but the fit and finish of the gun is impressive to me. Also the action on the pump is also ultra kink free and silky smooth. So I'm extremely looking forward to playing w/ it.

I saw pictures of these over on CCM Owners... Not really a fan of the right hand feed but the fit and finish of that gun is impressive.

^ I hear you. I'm not a fan of vertical mounted feed necks, so for me it's a blessing. I'm mulling over an idea to mill a slot on the sight rail and mounting some Millet rear sights. Plus I don't think I'll be changing my barrel for a different one so a front post might also be machined into it.

Does the SS-25 Stock Class fit on those? If so a nice offset Stockclass feed would be nice.

If you put a Stock Class feed on that it would look so nice. It already looks beautiful though.

Congrats.

I've heard that it does (on another website... ), but if I'm going to play 12g/rock-n-cock I'll whip out the Buzzard or Stock Duck. I don't really plan on playing stock w/ this puppy. Basically for playing vs. semis and other open class pumpers.

I'm over there semi-frequently too. Same name as here on MCB.

Nice looking gun shiba. I see the AT arm already has a bit of wear from you enjoying the stroke!

And yes, the SS-25 stock feeds do fit on that gun.

Actually... there's a story of ill repute behind that...

That's sweet. Like you I'm a fan of offset feednecks so that I can sight over the top of the breach and barrel. Although I'm beginning to get the hang of putting the back of my nose at the tail end of the breach and sight with both eyes open and put the target mid point between the two double images of the end of the barrel.

Darn thing is that on the markers I have with the power feed I can't do either. How the hell does one aim with power feeds?

Anyhow that's a topic for another time. Congrats on the new family member.
