That sounds like a good deal, especially shipped. For aluminum with most of the threads, the bottoming part should be good. Mine turned out to be a plug tap, but there's plenty of bore depth to work with. Maybe that's why cocker barrels have that extension in the first place.
Railgun milled his shoulder off. I cut most of mine with the thin dremel wheel and used a large flat file on it to clean it up.
An old smartparts 12" all-american barrel will shoot about 265 fps and a 16" evil pipe with .686 back shoots about 300 fps at the same settings, so getting a good barrel fit in there is important. Someday I might try my revolver kit on there.
