If you had to get one barrel bore size...which one?

I'm thinking of upgrading barrels for my cocker pump. I'm currently using a Powerlyte Scepter kit on it, but I'm thinking of possibly upgrading to a higher quality barrel.

I'd like to just get a "one size fits all" type of barrel since my local park only uses RPS Evil and RPS Marballizer (95% of the time it is the Evil paint). So what bore size do you guys recommend if I was to only get a single barrel of one size for this paint?

The Lapco barrels seem to be high on my list right now, they have .684, .687, and .690 1-piece barrels.

Why change from the scepter kit? That is a top of the line barrel already..

Evil is smaller bore for me here in California. I would say get the .684 or something close to that.

I say one of palmer's stock sizes would be fine, asking for a custom bore size = $$$

I'm thinking .685 with shallow wedgits since it's a pump and all.

But like someone else said, sticking to a barrel kit (especially yours) would probably be best overall, we don't really know how the paint manufacturers are going to deal with paint in the future.

Also keep in mind that brass is very heavy, not sure if that's your cup of tea.

Couple of Palmer and Lapco fans here I see. I'd def get the PPS if they weren't so darned expensive! Not to mention heavy. Leaning towards the Microshot now.
