Ano on about 80 pieces Can you do it?

Oh great rainman I read your update and see that ano is "not happening" I am not quite sure what that means or if it is long term.

I have some 34-35 logic trigger frames with triggers that I need ano'd. They are raw as machined and would need surface finishing and anodizing. About 8-9 in dust black if that is possible and the rest in gloss black. Each frame has a trigger that needs to be ano'd to match. If the 8 or so is too small of a run for dust they could all be in gloss (it just might be a few less frames).

I also have 4-6 lonestar grip blocks that need anodizing in gloss black. No surface finishing needed on these they are finished by benchmark and ready to be ano'd.

I would like to send all of this to you and get it done in by the end of September at the latest.

If you would please give me a quote and an idea of what turn around would be I would be grateful. Also what about payment terms? Could I put some down with the order and pay the balance on receipt of the goods? I prefer to do it this way since this is a larger order and I would like to see the work before I pay in full (despite your good reputation). Get back to me if you would please. Here are some pics of what one of the frames looks like assembled.

Sorry out of my league. You may be better off finding some one local to do this. I bigger shop will have the means to polish them cheaper then i could. I have to do them mostly by hand and only can do a few at a time in the tumbler. My tumbler is a toy compared to what a big shop would have.

I would see if there is a good local shop to you. Look for a local machine shop and ask if he knows of a good anodizer nearby.

Yeah I plan on getting the phone book out on Tuesday and making some calls. I know there is one shop a friend of mine used to work at but it is a crazy place and the owner can be unreasonable so I plan to avoid it. It looks like there are several larger shops in the Salt Lake area but I need to see what they can do.
