Pump Rainmaker Still Acting Up...

Okay, so this time when I pump the marker, the carrier attached to the pump arm does not engage the hammer, it only presses it into the valve, opening it up and spewing balls at the barrel (at a healthy 4 FPS). So at the scenario I tried to use it at, Clearush and I came to the conclusion that there was not enough air pressure on the valve, but increasing pressure would mean higher velocities, and it was already chronoing high when it DID work (it was pushing 430 FPS when I first chrono'd it). So I figured I'd bring it here before I tried messing with it further. Would I need to cut the main-spring a little to drop velocity? Any options would be appreciated.

As always, thanks for any help!

PS: I did clean up and relube the internals, just for information.

did you change your valve spring to?

Dangit. Hold on. I'll do that real quick. I never messed with the settings after the game, so it should be just as it was when it wasn't working. I'll let you know if it changes things for the better.

Edit: Yeah, it seems to be consistently catching now. Hm. I'm dumb. Heck, it even seems to be shooting low, so I can up the pressure now. Thanks Claudio for the slap in the face. <3
