Pump mag version 2.0 (update page 4)

Well i got most of the bugs with the pump rod binding out. I raised the Guide rods .050. This took out most of the binding and eliminates 90% of the bending needed to get them smooth. Theres still the need to straighten the rod. (as each one bends a different way when threading them.) There May be no need for bending on the new kits. I will see when i get there. Check the new design out of the mount.

Ps I'm waiting on the s/s screws for the lower shaft. Right now it has a Steel screw in it thats way to short. So it's riding on threads for the most part. The front of the handle is drilled out and the hole is big enough for the alen wrench but not the screw to come out.

Very cool. Love the contoured mount. I might have to build another pump mag because of you.

Yeah I guess so

Would the use of a twist lock to cocker adapter make life easier for you (no need to shave off as much meat), or would the large o.d. portion of the adapter still stick out past the end of the body just like most older twist lock barrels (or at least like the one pictured on your test gun).

Actually that barrels not in all the way. It's stuck on the screw. Plus the pump setup clears it far enough to use a mini mag body. so no worries.

All the meat was shaven for a new look. the size of the mount really makes little difference. It's all for look.

I'll get better pictures up when i get a chance. But the mount is less meater then the first style. And little shorter in height. Since the rods got moved up slightly. Also i added a little more space for the vert asa. As the first run put it right up against the mount back. But everything that was change was on the mount only.

Also the top guide rod is not milled any more on this run. It will have a screw for the lower guide. to hold the pump on. and the pump handle will be mod'ed so you can remove it easily.

The pump plate was changed in one way. The hitman mod holes are pre drilled on all the mounts. so there evenly spaced. Still no sure what i'm going to do for that. I may make an add on piece out of aluim and thread the holes.
