Stabilizing Bolt Rod on Phantom UC

I recently purchased UC Phantom from Singleshot and the kit overall is awesome. Singleshot even sent me a longer lower guide rod to help stabilize the pump handle. I don't notice any twist in the pump action, nor any side to side movement. There is however a slight up-down wobble which I believe is a result of how the bolt rod connects to the phantom's bolt. Is there anyway to stabilize the bolt rod to get rid of the wobbling? It is really minimal but I figure it might make the pump kit, which by itself is excellent, even smoother. I was thinking something along the lines of the attachment CCM uses to stabilize their economy kit.

Only way to solve that issue is to lock the rod to the plate with a jam nut. As the original pump on the phantom was setup.

I put the stock pump rod spring and nylon washers back on. That solved it without the jam nut. I still get a slight wiggle at the lower guide rod though.

I'm considering leaving the return spring out of the handle and using two stock springs (or lighter ones if I can find em'), with the nylon washers, on both the pump rod and lower guide rod. That should hold it steady. I'll let you know when I do it.

You have a first run kit? Do you have the upgraded lower rod? lower rod should be about the same length as the main guide rod.

Mine wobbles because I have the first gen. I didn't know you sent the longer secondary guide rods, I thought you were just busy! Sending address right now.

I did exactly that and it seems to have worked. There is a slight wiggle but hardly noticeable anymore. Thanks very much.

I will field test it during the OSC 3Man and 5Man pump tournament this weekend. Sweet.

Sorry for the long response time.

It's second run. Just got it. Thanks by the way.

The wiggle is barely noticeable but I'm a little OCD.

And no prob CTownCA!

I think I've got the first run kit too. There seems to be more play than I thought there would have been. How can I find out for sure and get this resolved?
