| odd request for a pump upgrade so would it be possible to create a plate that goes behind the main pump guide on economy pump kits, with a hole drilled and tapped in the corner, so that economy pump kits can have dual guide rods? it would be about 1/8 inch thick, and have a hole in the center, just like a normal front block, and the pump guide would go through the hole and into the body. it could even be ovular like CCM plates and the extra rod could be on the bottom. the only problem i could see would be the pump guide threading being too short. but new pump guides could be turned that have a smooth space for the block, and then the threads for the body. Or a mini cocker pump guide could be used, considering they already come with longer threads than others. and the end user would drill the hole in the pump handle to accomodate the extra rod? | this would be similar to WWA's "mock block". only it may have a different shape and would not cradle the barrel like WWA's does. also i really think an ovular shape would be cooler, with the second guide below the main guide rod. |
