Rainmaker MAC mount frame adapter
I'm needing a MAC mount frame adapter for my Rainmaker. Are these available?
Wow. A blast from the past. I have to look to see if I have any. If not possibly make some.
Cool. I ran across a couple Rainmakers, just couldn't pass 'em up. I may send one of them to you for some milling a little later down the road.
Do the adapters leave room for the 9v battery to still be placed inside the shroud?
Examples of Rainmakers with mounts:
My guess would be no without modifying the shroud.
You can use it with the 99 shroud. But I think it needs to.be shaved a little.
Did you have some available? How do I go about getting one of these from you?
At one point there was a mac-mount that had a built-in 9V tray beneath it. That was pretty clever. I'm sure it was Rainmans?
I used one of those tiny battery-boxes you can get at RadioShack for projects, and attached it to the bottomline, so at least it was hidden. I also added an on/off switch since the Rainmaker lacks one. (excluding the early 97 version)
Thanks for the info.
I *think* Rainman did at least one version where a battery holder was tacked onto one of his custom back blocks. You could then run the harness wire through the gun to the grip hidden. He'd be better to answer on it, though.
*durp* It's front and centre on his page:
