The pump handle is original.
Your frame is not original.
Your bolt and pull pin are not original.
Old snipers all used a special bolt that was a twist lock. The pull pin didn't exist until like 1992 I think.

The backblock may or not be original. The 1.5's I've seen didn't have the backblock drilled. But my 1991 did so I can't be sure.

here is a 1.5

Pump Handle is a Vendetta, as stated in the original post. An original pump handle would have 4 ribs if it was a Sniper 1, and 8 ribs if it was a sniper 2.

Original Sniper 2 back block was not a twist lock but it was held in with ball bearings and you pulled on the back of the bolt and it released the bearings and allowed the bolt to slide out.

With a serial number of 2000 plus, its positively a sniper 2 not a 1.5, as they didnt have that many left over parts from the sniper 1.

Sorry we all came in here and messed up your sales thread, but MCB knows when a gun isnt listed right.

Good Luck with your sale!

that doesn't look like any vendetta kit I've ever seen. Did they have a basic kit? It looks exactly like old wgps.

*edit*

Sounds like he's including another pump kit?

Well unless someone modified an original 4 rib pump handle, I am sure it isnt a WGP handle. But with that serial number I am sure it isnt a 1.5.

Russ you may be correct about the additional pump kit.

hey all - Im thinking this could be a 1.5 w/ a sniper II body, but the parts (including back block, bolt, frame, grips, and pump handle) look all wrong for the ssn.

Fun facts from apg on ssn 2555:

side note: I'm the keeper of the cocker dating page. pm me updates if you think the page needs it.

the pump handle is the original on there (or at least it looks like it from the pic shown on the top of the page) the vendetta is not on there it comes with it but there isn't a pic. so far it looks like the bolt and frame/grips are the only real difference, the back block I have looks identical to the other 1.5s

From what I understand, 1.5s aren't really defined by serial numbers, but rather the parts used. I think between the 1s and 2s, Orr went from milled bodies with bolt-on sight rails to extruded bodies with built-in rails. People called some Sniper 2s Sniper 1.5s, because they had the Extruded body, but with old Sniper I pump handles, back blocks, trigger frames etc. Yours might fall under the 1.5s, because the handle looks kind of like the older style, but that's about all I see. The mismatched other parts kind of take away any collector value that would otherwise be seen in a 1.5.
