1989 TAG Modified Nelspot....mmmm Brass

What we have today is a 1989 Nelspot 007 with TAG (Texas Air Guns) brass barrel kit. TAG was one of the first company's manufacturing direct feed style bolt-on replacement bodies for the Nelspot 007. This version is breech-drop and uses all of the 007's original internal parts. The kit pump handle is made from PVC and from what i learned TAG only converted enough to cover the cost of the tools to do so at the time.

Beleive it or not everything does work and and it shoots fine w/ no leaks.

Would really love to trade for another pump, preferably something pre2k cocker threaded, but since a cash price is needed I'll say $125 shipped usps priority w/ tracking #

Hmm, that barrel, is it one piece or is there a removable barrel in side?

If it is like the one I have, the barrel is made of two pieces... an Inner liner, then an air space, and an outer shell. The barrel is not removeable.

The internals on mine are plain old steel, and not a particularly good finish, but at the time that was one of the best markers on the field

Ah, that makes more sence. I was thinking thats gada be one thick piece a pipe to be a barrel "and" a guts housing.

Thanks Ty.

I have some brass that is thick enough to make a solid body, but it would weigh a ton...

And now back to your regularly scheduled thread... Sorry for the distraction.
