I think alot of the parts are the same as the pellet pistol, maybe you can find one of them to rob parts from.

3357 parts

The older pellet pistols (357's) are exactly the same as the 3357's and all the parts are interchangeable except for the barrel and cylinder, or you could buy a brand new pellet pistol, I think its called the 357w, and just put the barrel and cylinder on that. your gonna need to make some slight mods for that, but I dont think its a big deal.

Actually the pellet version is really only the same as the paintball version on the grip, minus the latch and the gear that switches the cylinder around. SO you can't get a plate off of a 357. And ask around for some latch plates, I know a few people have them like acrewofone.

Fan of EMR
The current 357 (or 357W, 3576) pellet pistol base is 95% the same as the old 3357. The current 357's ability to index the 10 shot pellet cylinder could give it problems indexing the 6 shot paintball cylinder.

Notice the indexing arm is totally different, upper is old 3357/357, lower is new 357:

Also, if you are using a 357 pellet pistol grip and adding the 3357 barrel and cylinder, you will have to grind/file off a portion of the front of the lower frame on both sides (where the barrel screw is), in order for the 3357 barrel to hinge open further (gives the 3357 cylinder enough clearance). See the part marked on this picture, it is flat on the 3357, rounded on the 357, it needs to be ground/filed flat:

and yes, I have extra 3357/357 parts......

acrewofone, I love you guy !

Even thought I don't have the barrel/cylinder (which I doubt you have spare), I'll check my 357 indexing arm and do some grinding on the frame (looks like there's only a few milimeters to file off)!

Thanks again and maybe a 357 => 3357 conversion tutorial should be great (and put sticky on the DIY tech section)...

That seems a little strange, does anybody know if some 357's were diffrent from others? The reason for my assuming that all of the parts were the same is that I just tried puting my 3357 barrel and cylender on an old 357 and aside from the cylinder not fitting it worked fine.

Crosman "re-released" the 357 pellet gun in the 90's (if I remember well)... As you can see on the above pictures, it's slightly different, but still compatible with the 3357 barrel & cylinder...
