Well that being said, I have a quandary. Does the bolt blow backward when you shoot one of these things? Without a pump handle or ball bearing to hold it closed do you have velocity drop off from the bolt moving back?

Nope. At least, not if it's a standard PG bolt setup. After you close the bolt, you rotate it about 15 degrees. The cocking lug fits into a slot in the body (which you can see on the left side of the gun, just above the trigger), and the bolt is locked into place.

Are these the ones RoBo carried in crossdraw holsters a few years ago? If so, they were the inspiration for the one I built to go with my lever rifle. Either way, they're beautifully understated, elegant guns...

I think RoBo had the ones with the Volcanic-style levers one them... I could have that mixed up though, the DAMAGE guys have waaaaayyyy too many cool toys to keep track of.

There's several different ones..
RoBo has a pair of nickled ones with round butts
Not sure who has the Volcanic right now.Skog?

Yes the bolts Twist lock but sometime when your in 'Full Auto' mode
you might not do that.

Hey! That looks just like my Palmerized K-Framed PG! Well, minus the nickel plating, fassst changer and larger twist lock bolt handle... But, the one thing these have mine doesn't, although it probably wouldn't make a huge practical difference, is...
