FS: Sheridan K2 bolt action paint rifle

Up for sale is my K2 bolt action rifle. It is in good shape, holds air (recently replaced o-rings and installed a dyna valve stem/cupseal), and functions well. It comes with a palmer's Fast Changer. I have not chrono'ed it, but it does shoot on the low side. This marker would make a good one to get palmerized, or just to keep in its original old school condition. Asking $600, shipping included. PM offers. Price negotiable. Thanks you!

Was this set up from the factory like this?

Since it has a BB hole and a short stock either it's a oddball crossover K2(which I haven't seen any) or a KP2 with a K2 bolt and KP2 stock.
I've seen several early KP2's with the single BB hole.

free up.

Oddly enough there doesn't seem to be any pump wear. Could it be just re-stocked?

Free bump for a nice looking K series.

Does the serial # begin with a "B"?
If so, it's likely a late K2 made after the KP2 went into production, rather than a KP2 conversion.

If not, it's most likely a KP2 conversion.

I've seen a couple of these K2/KP2s pop up with that one small bearing hole on the drivers' side. It is definitely some kind of interim design. It seems to be pretty rare.

I will have to check the serial number. I took the pics today, and had to go back to school. I will check Friday.

This is the way the gun came to me. I purchased it from another MCB member, other than that I am unsure about the marker's history.

Lots of K2's were sent back to the factory and converted into KP's. Some of these were even sent back once again for a direct feed conversion later on.

I just had a chance to look and the serial number does start with a B. It's B013857
