Cause it was a fresh layed black top drive way and offers up a perfect "neutral" background for photography work in natural lighting conditons that happen by me around 3pm in the summer time.

Is the barrel removable? Would a phantom detent ring cure your woes? Or perhaps adding a small slit and a little spring.. like on a spyder?
Anyhow.. free up for an awesome gun!
