Montneel Icon Z-1 #0699

Montneel Icon Z-1 Serial Number 0699

I hate to sell this thing, but it needs work I'm not going to get done, and I hate seeing it sit in a box more.

Screw holes are stripped, need rethreaded. Everything else worked beautifully. Will include Starfire bolt, some replacement parts.

Asking $125, but please make offers. I don't mind being lowballed.

Drat. Dunno what happened. Fixed now, though.

Was at dinner with some friends tonight, was reminded of some of this gun's history. It's circled around between us for a long while. The last time it was really used before the threads gave out was Castle Conquest 9, I think. I loaned it to another guy whose mag was having troubles. We defended the castle all day.. I guess 7 hours or so of shooting was just too much for the old girl.

I think the image troubles were due to using picasa.. I found out how to do it properly now. I think. Let me know if I'm wrong

Yes, it does have a sear installed.

But yes, looks like the sear pin is gone. Huh.

That I can fix.

1st grey I have seen in quite some time. These were the best IMHO that barrel was just perfect looking.

Actually, the barrel that was usually on it was a prototype 'Shadowtech'. The original owner of the gun had several made, but never got them into production.

That, I won't sell.

No doubt, this is a gun that's seen a lot of play. I kind of like that better than the perfect condition wallhangers, but I'd rather like to see someone get their hands on it who could possibly restore it.
