Odd... looks like those descriptions were written by the same person.

That first one is equipped with Elite Mfg.'s "Battle grips" that allow you to change 12g's without removing the grip panel.

Otherwise, the grip frames are the same.

I want to see if number 2 gets as high as the nelspot from the other day. If so, I may have to let mine go.

You mean the $200 something Nelspot? That was in-fricken'-sane! I couldn't believe that when I checked it.

$76.11 was the final on this one. The prices on Nelspots has been bouncing all over the place recently. I got my beater from Brinstar for $30 shipped, put new parts in it for all of $10 including the paint, etc. So call it $40. Number two up there went for $76. One before it went for around $125. I saw one right before I got mine that went for $195.00 on e-bay but it had a bunch of vintage add-ons as well as all of the OEM parts. Then the one that was stock, albeit complete, that went for $200+..... weird market over the past month or so.....

I bought that stock one off here that is in mint condition for $175. Still has the stickers on the tube and the string as well. Its real pretty.

Hey, whatever the market will bear, right?

There is no doubt of the fact that a "minty" (i.e. rust-free, with original paint, etc. and sticker artifacts in place) Nelson Nel-Spot is not the easiest thing to find. They certainly aren't making any more of them.

Fluctuations in price like this are common on ebay for desirable items. It is all a question of patience, available cash and who shows up for the auction on a particular day.

I've found that posting my auctions on a friday or saturday for a 1 week auction around mid-afternoon (EST) yields the best results since you have more people with access to snipe each other for bids when the auction ends.
