The .62 to 68 special was easy.... Chop off and bolt on,lol

The 62 smg to 68 smg involved a little more work

The .62 to .68 smg conversion would have been $$$ if Weltman and I didn't have a stack of extra guns and Magazines ( plus a insider @ Tippmann )

Still waiting on the steel magazine adapters, can't wait to get my SMG rocking again

With the exception of First Strike, paint is too small for the stripper clips these days.
Wall hanger.

I'm amazed myself. My memory of the SMG-68 was it was extremely unpopular.

It came out a few months before the 68-Special, which was an infinetly more usable gun.

Everyone wanted the direct-fed version since you could hold 200 rounds and reload while firing.

Now.... its hard to even give away a 68-special... go figure!

I'm curious. Have you tried any paint from the last five years in stripper clips?
It's not just the idea of them stay inside the clip but remain tight enough to index the clip through the magazine. It must be a firm fit.
I tried my tape mod once and it did work but all the tape blew out the first time through the magazine.
I've been playing all over and the paint has been varying degrees of small every time.

In short I am curious if anyone has tried any recent paint in some red strippers then shot them successfully(gun automatically indexing every shot).

Not in the past couple of years, but paint wasn't exorbitantly small that time, either...so that's probably not much help.
