Wow. I have never seen another one of these! That's just awesome. Did they make any of the original Splatties with clear shells?

No Splatmasters with clear shells, but they made more than a few clear rapides and accessories... I think you could even get the stocks in clear.

Just as a side note guys, this would be a display only.

The clear shells were never meant to be used under pressure. If you take this one to the filed, you risk breaking it, and it could actually be somewhat dangerous. I've been told that these were salesman's demo models to show off the goods.

Cool as heck though.

Would be a nice piece to donate to EMR; if they don't already have one...

I have read this about these on PBR it said the clear ones are prone to cracking. Makes you wonder how many survived and are still out there?

EMR has a few clear ones, black ones, green ones, brown ones, camo, etc.
I haven't gassed the clear ones.

The pressure is not contained in the plastic

Its just a screwed together shell that contains the working parts

Overtime it might crack from the impact of the cycling action
but its not gonna bloww up real good

I think the absolute worst that could happen would be a valve flying around a bit with all the terrifying power of a 12 gram cartridge.

I'd be way more concerned with messing up a cool collectable.
