This is fantastic, thanks so much. The idea I have now is: how much for a set? Would you be willing to replicate it and sell me a set?

Good luck getting the valve body back in. The valve body o-rings tend to get clipped by the body as you put it in. The first time I removed my valve, I replaced the seals and realized how tight the fit was... I froze the valve for half an hour, then lubed it up and eased it in place. Not a leak.

I would make another set for... $25 bucks, plus shipping? It would fit in a padded envelope, so I can't imagine shipping will be much. If you're willing to wait a while, I'll make a note to buy extra metal next time I make the trip. They're just basic, basic tools. It's all mild steel, so it will rust if you dont oil or paint it, but I just work out of my home garage so I dont have the abilities to do anything fancier than that. | |

Well, aside from the Vintagerex article, I don't really know that much about the reputation of early Brass Eagle... But it seems like they were held in better regard. I mean, its solidly constructed, but there weren't many people making markers back then as well? It would be great to hear the opinion of someone who was part of the paintball scene back then... I was 4 years old when this marker was made. Last edited by freedummy; 11-10-2012 at 01:29 AM. |
