I guess it's in the nature of Californians to buy old Nelson-based kits and then only use them once in the 15 years they own them... Either that or it's an entire state of compulsive liars. Either way, it's much more believable that a 2-year-old Spyder Electra could be forgotten after it's first use than it is that a decades old Nelson kit would go unused for 99.9999% of it's life. |

| MCB Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: American Fork, Utah | It's a AGS (Adventure Game Supplies) Devestator they sold back in the 80s. Single side pump arm, fixed barrel. You used to be able to get the barrel up to 18". Later they came out with the Vindicator, the same gun with dual pump arms and removable barrel. It's hard to tell if it's single or double pump arm, but that was style of pump they used on the Devastator, they used a slightly different style pump on the Vindicators. You can also see the iron sights on the front of the barrel and the sight rail. Later TASO sold the same gun and sight kits. Not really all that rare, neat though. Nice add to a collection, but don't break the bank to pick this up. |
