ya know a eagle isnt like a duck at all... its a semi, isnt a duck still a pump.

and there one good thing about those eagles, they are decently compact, fit in a normal holster and are lighter than a tac-8. i want one bad. i am pissed i missed that auction i was watching it too, had to step out for something stupid and poof there it went.

if you got one i will buy it.

Has anyone ever taken the halfway decent valve train out of one of these and put it in a more decent body? I would think that it would be a pretty nice marker given some TLC on that nasty shell.

Every time I looked into ti it was very expensive to do. One of the major issues is that valve train puts tons of energy everywhere but where it needs to (firing the ball)

The things just rattle apart, and I think even an aluminum one would show signs of wear in not too long of a time.

The amount you would spend on a custom body would buy you 2 Tac-8's.. and proably some nice holsters...

Im not one to squash any projects, just tried that route once.
