nah it's not painted on. it seems like was annoed or cast into the body. like it was made like that. i bought not to long ago and I have to sell it.

ah well. i'll get another sometime down the road.

Some of them seemed to have a swirl "camo" in the plastic, but not like that, that is definitly painted/air brush. The camo is the outline of leaves.

I'll have to watch this.
My 1st gun was a rapide.
Don't have the gun anymore but still have the ammo clip hanging around somewhere.
