oh the poor VM!

PMI-3 VM68 Paintball Gun BROKEN Parts AS IS vm-68 vm 68 - eBay (item 320356394960 end time Apr-09-09 17:31:29 PDT)

Poor thing looks like it was rescued from a lake bottom! Seller says he has a few. Looks like he has various other broken markers for sale too.

Hmmm....now that I think about it...anyone remember the seller Westcoastops? I wonder...

Wow. It looks like someone took that boat anchor saying about VMs a little too seriously.

I am blanking on the Westcoastops seller. What was the deal?

ya know I bet if you gave that thing a good cleaning, it would probably shot fine. I have 6 vms they are very forgiving markers.this one makes me sad it's like the part of the wizard of oz when the flying monkeys rip the scarecrow apart......only worse

I had one in worse shape than that and with a little cleaning and oiling they usually work like a champ....not much can keep the almighty VM down

It begs to have the internals redone, and the outside left the way it is! The coolest sleeper...this week lol.

That's what I'm thinking. Probably would take 5 minutes to get it working if you had the parts.

I remember westcoastops.
Those SOBs ripped me off of 1 PMI1, and I remember they ripped a few members from the old MCB.
They use to sell real beaters and hacked up parts, tinker stuff.
They changed their name to westcoastops from goldcoastops.

At least these guys look like they sell clean stuff.

heh...went for $5 bucks. Shipping cost more than twice that. Still waiting to see if they post up more of them.

That really looks like a lost marker that was buried out in a field for a good year or so!

Bought one of these for giggles. I need one around here for testing, developement, and just to say I have one anyway. Body has field id markings on every single surface but other than that it is functional though very dirty. I snapped a pic then took it apart and dropped it all into some parts cleaner for a good soak. I'll use it as a 'blow off steam' project for when I'm too ticked off to work on paying jobs. I'll clean it up and put the body on a little diet to get rid of those field markings.

I really miss the monster recoil of these babies, shooting one of them makes you feel like you just lobbed a grenade at your target.

Here's a pic of what it looked like fresh out of the box.
