CJ,,,

I quoted above the dump tests I did for the Splatmaster Valves... This coming weekend I will do dump tests on the DuckSlide and Ghost... According to the Data Sheet on the Ultra Copper High Temp RTV the working range is -65* F to 700* F... I also attached the Data Sheet PDF below...

http://www.permatex.com/documents/td...tive/81878.pdf

I will let you know how it goes and keep you updated

You know I've gone thru a few seals maybe 4 in the past 2.5 years so although these liquid seals are interesting they seem a bit messy. Last year after going thru several seals at once I ordered 10 from Mike @CCI and haven't needed another since then. Mongo gave me a great tip, lace a fresh seal in with an empty 12gm and seal it for a week. After following his advice I haven't lost another one.

That soundsx like how I installed my last seal in my gargoyle. Just get a lot of pressure on it with an empty. And let it sit there for a while, heat helps too, I leave mine in front of my laptops exhaust port for 3 hours.

OK update on the puncture pin seals I did for the Ghost and DuckSlide...

I blew one apart and the other is holding up... I think I need to redo both making sure I clean the area with Alcohol before putting the RTV in and get a new tube of Permatex® Ultra Copper High Temp (the old tube I have is 12 years old )...

I will try again in a few weeks...

Few weeks?
Yea, clean with alcohol first, and a new tube should do it.
What's a good curing time for the sealant bro?

The manufacturer suggests 24 hours,,, on the Splatmasters I let cure for 48 hours... Splatmaster puncture seals are still holding up with no sign of damage or change...

Yes a few weeks,,, sorry Brother
