CJ, here are pictures of the Lapco bolt/TPC, and hammer.
These can be bought directly through them.

Might as well order the power tube. It will need to be cut down to the same length as a Phantom power tube though, and ask for a set of springs too while at it.

Thanks for the photos Jack! I didn't know the Lapco guts had a straight-through TPC. Interesting.

Update: got my hands on a Nelspot valve and pierce pin assembly.

The threading is smaller than that of the CCI/Redux assembly but the entire Nelspot assembly is made of steel.

I'm going to have a welding shop build up the Nelspot assembly to the same threads as the CCI.

The pierce pin is TINY on the Nelson assembly and I think this might help keep liquid out of the system. I don't autotrigger so recharge rate is immaterial.

Before you do all that try some heavy old school 007 guts I think you will be surprised.

I know that my original Nelspot bolt won't fit my Phantom. But the Lapco guts are working fine in the Nellie.
DSA, are you sure the bolt is authentic to the Nellie?

Hm, looking at that lapco TPC, like you said it's straight through. Why would that be any softer on paint than your drilled Phantom TPC CJ? Or is it possible that the ball breaks were caused by something other than the drilled out TPC?

Ironchef: I've been asking myself that question lately. I may give the drilled TPC a try again with a "0" (zero) powertube.

low pressure paint's in a HP set up? the lapco guts just like carter guts dont have a TPC. the TPC is a phantom only design. the lapco just has a open velocity adjuster so you would think it would be tougher on paint than it is.

i think the size of the bolt face, powertube length/diameter and distance of the power tube from the ball has an affect

The Redux is Phantom threaded, right.

GG will be able to collaborate with me on this issue with Phantom, and how they to sometimes break more paint than their closed bolt cocker threaded systems like the ones found on the Carter's and Gargoyles to name just but two lol.
