That tubing has a .014" wall, so it is almost like a drinking straw made out of brass. The valve chamber could be bored out internally after the threads and the .500" OD tube used. The overbore would create the path for the CO2 to travel away from the valve without decreasing the total chamber volume. With a lathe and a small boring bar ....... First overbore the chamber starting just before the piercing pin inlet to the major diameter of the valve nut threads (.562") The pink area is an optional secondary overbore for extra chamber volume.

See these threads: Forty Seven http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/a...ml#post1279321 "36 shots above 235fps, starting ~275fps" seems to be as good as a Redux gets, without going to a 10-inch barrel or having a valve diffuser installed. With the diffuser, I think 40 shots above 235fps, starting at 275fps is probably attainable. |

I'm telling you Go Heavy on the hammer at least here in West Tx it seems to do the trick.

Nope my redux just bows to the will of it's master, a real man if you will. Grow some hair on your back get four decades under your gizzard, play a full game, stoggie in mouth without coughing and have some Cognac with mOngo at a major Paintball event and maybe just maybe your redux will bow to it's masters will.
