Steve, if you were to submit to a smaller breach design to help compensate for todays ever shrinkinh paint, you'd be the first.
I can't tell you how often I see the less experienced (not our CJ) players suffer with it these days.

The mod that I am considering is to radius the lower flat rectangular gripframe adapter.... at the "6:00" position- I believe this would do the same thing as demonstrated by CJ, but the radius would not show.... My Loo Duck has this lower radius ( it is also a D/F gun) and also has no feed issues. And again, the mod won't show..... Other folks who I know have had an issue or two also admitted they have "shortstroked" the gun in their excitement.... LMK if anyone wants to see the mod on a Redux- I'll post a photo or two. My 3 Redux markers all have the original feed and again- have no pinching issues. I am betting that small paint has caused the issue, which makes me want to rethink, and perhaps modify the future Redux for sub .679 paint- which may be the norm soon- who knows? Mongo
Thanks for the parts offer Mongo!

I would love to get spares of the block and the front of the tube - the two parts I milled. If you want to mill them "internally" like yours, feel free.

my entire point was that with CJ's mod a new technique isnt required... ANYONE can use the redux, thus making them better for the masses, leading to possibly more sales, in turn leading to MORE for the dux users. What has been acomplished here is HUGE, and good for everyone. now that this has been achieved i think im going to put the dux mack on my list of guns i want in the future, but after trying it once the pinching was something i couldn't get over.

No one can keep up with the limited supply and huge demand now So I still don't follow your logic. Besides why would I want more duck users out there. I already blessed Cj's project but as I will always contend I don't have an issue but I've been doing SC for a bit over 21 yrs now... And yes we are the minority and I like it that way

One thing mod'ers need to be aware of is not to stray into Stock Class no man's land, by that I mean ramping or feed moding to a point that your marker is no longer fits SC configuration. As it stands the DD68 design skirts the rules very closely.

Parabolic Feed Success & Video now up

Details in a new thread, here: Parabolic Feed - Success! (testers needed)

Beta testers? It's reversible, needing only epoxy putty or something else equally easy to install and remove.

A video of Redux 043 with this mod, chambering ten rounds, is now online:

I'm glad to see that a solution has been worked out and tested... great video proof too! I have very little experience (HS shop) w/ a lathe and mill, but I can't imagine that this modification would be terribly hard to do on a verticle mill if you left the feed adaptor attached to the slide while making the cut. Any thoughts from the crowd? I'm sure Steve would have some...

Not being a PIA but IMHO I didn't see this mod feeding any faster in a modded gun than mine did in a non modded gun. If you'll notice my dux is at the normal vertical position feeding without a hitch.

YouTube - Redux Loading Technique

...really vindicated, interesting yes but vindicated? BTW nice video Cj it's nice to put a voice to the name
