Anybody using lelands in their redux?

I've been using standard crossman 12grams, but have been thinking about buying a bulk of lelands. Just wanted to know if the shorter 12grams were an issue for the redux or if they fit just fine.

"Short" 12-grams won't be a problem.

The type of changer used on the Redux isn't sensitive to 12-gram length, unlike the insta-pierce on Sheridan guns.

I haven't used Lelands as Mosa's are more easily available to me but I wouldn't hesitate to use the former.

Stay away from Crosman like the plague. I've posted data in the 12-gram discussion thread on how inconsistent and contaminated those are.

This has always been a question in my mind as well. Crossman's suck. But they're readily available just about everywhere. Lelands do have an option for a box of 450 though, which could last a VERY long time. I've thought about doing it before, but I have no idea how much it would cost.

IIRC it's about $133 plus shipping if you call them. One of those cases has lasted the wife and I about two years, and we sold, gave away several (25-50) of them.

Really? That's WAY cheaper than I thought it would be. I use about an average of 6 a day on the field, so I don't shoot all that much. Just doing some quick math, that could last about 75 games, give or take. Of course, some people may shoot less, some may shoot more. But still.

FYI when we bought this box it cost twice that if you email them/go through a website. This is one example of a few minutes on the phone and some almost human contact really being worth it. Final cost for our box of 450 was around $150-$160

I use crossman by the carton from Academy Sports, great price and zero shipping. Remember almost all 12gms ARE created equal. At one time Brass Eagle created and distributed 95% of everything on the market so shop price

I've been using the crossmans with no issue to date, it's just that we can bulk order the lelands so I was gonna go in with some of the guys.
