Just any barrel bag that fits around the muzzle to be honest. I have a orange PPS bag that I like because it is HiViz for when I am walking off.

i use a benchmark alum twist barrel plug but some feilds wont let me use it so i have a small lapco barrel sock ,which is easy to put on and off because it only cover like 2inchs on the front.

Tippmann bags work well, but honestly, a holster is the way to go. It is a pistol after all.

As others have indicated, anything wide enough to fit over the slide.

I suggest starting with a double-barrel style cover and trimming/sewing it narrow for aesthetic reasons.

hmm i was looking at my current barrel cover for my j2l and it looks as though there if no way it will fit. i was looking at the tippmann flatline barel cover and that looks like it might work out well. And as for the holster, it will be a primary so i dont really see the usefullness of it.

Thanks for the suggestions

Well, you typically only need a BBD when you are out or in the staging area. Primary or not, you're not shooting in either place, so a holster would be a perfectly appropriate place to put a pistol when not in use.
My Redux is typically the only gun I play with, and I use a holster when not shooting it.

The holsters I've seen don't cover the barrel, at least not with a long pistol like the Redux. Does yours?

I still use a barrel bag with mine.

no, they do not cover the barrel. the gun is pointed at the ground. The trigger and cocking mechanism are secured and unable to be accessed. There is no way for it to discharge, even with an act of god miraculously discharging it with invisible fingers, it would go safely into the ground.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you there.

What if you trip or otherwise fall over? Your barrel could be pointing UP at that point.
Further, the "the trigger's covered" argument is the same as "the safety is on." No dice - a sharp jolt will disengage the sear and fire the gun.

If your holster doesn't actually cover the barrel, put a barrel sock on.
