Question

Do you lubricate your slide or run it dry (aka no lube)? If you use lube what do you use?

I prefer to keep things greased up. Granted I don't have a redux yet, but the Duck works the same. A light coating of sleek over the snub keeps that bad boy nice and smooth. It's not bad with nothing there, I just don't like the metal on metal contact.

I Sleek everything including the outer valve housing, snub, screw holes, trigger assembly, inner slide, outer snub and barrel, 12gm plug threads. Anything and everything that touches another part and then I wipe all excess from the assembled marker to keep dust from building up. I like to think all this lube is why I suffer from very little marker rub.

Wow you sleek all the screw threads?? That's hardcore! I usually just do the inside of the slide, that way I figure it will lube everything it touches. I will do the trigger depending on how it feels.

SL33K on the slide/snub,valve,return spring, and barrel. Palmer's lube on the guts. I will be trying the SL33K on the 12ie plug threads too now that DSA mentions it.

Thanks DSA

So any of the rebranded Dow 33 will work then, not just Sl33k.

First thing I thought was no wonder you are getting pinches, loctite on your SLIDE can't be good. Then I reread it..I didn't know loctite made lube!
