I would, but I probably won't be there. I don't usually go to TopGun. Nothing against the field at all, I just never went there. I'd be happy to pay you whatever it costs to ship it though, when you get a chance.

Interested in this one? It's from a sprinkler head. PM me.

I really think it's night and day not to use a return spring. I mean it's cool when the marker is not charged but once gassed up I prefer the buttery smoothness of no spring.

In an email exchange of mine with Lauren Carter a few years ago:

Quote:
We get our springs from Century Spring in Los Angeles: 222 East 16th Street Los Angeles, CA 90015. Toll Free: 800.237.5225. Ph: 213.749.1466.
I would presume that they also provide the return springs for Carter Buzzards/Ducks etc. You could maybe get in contact with them and get what you're looking for.

Century Spring

Sweet, good to hear from you Steve. I thought I scored what I needed today, found some lawn sprinklers at HD for $2 a piece. Spring LOOKED like what I needed, so I picked them up.

Failure. The springs are about the right tension, but too big of an OD. But they cost next to nothing, so I can live with it.

Anyway, if you get the dimensions up I'll order a few through Century, or straight through you. I'd rather have the exact ones I need, ya know?

I took the Duck out today to do some testing. I personally like having the return spring in it. The difference in pump stroke wasn't enough to justify the need to make sure the slide and bolt were always held forward without it. Easier to have the spring and know it's forward as opposed to not having it and having to hold it or keep it pushed forward.
