| Lever fund: $330.52/???? | Return Springs?
Alright. I sold my boxgun at Pump Pande, and I donated the pump return spring with it. As it turns out, I much prefer to use my Redux WITH a return spring. Only problem is, I have not a gosh darn clue what kind of spring it is. ChopperDuke was kind enough to measure the return spring on his Duck for me, and this is what he got. ![]() ![]() It's a 1" OD, and it's about 2 3/8" in length, with four coils and a very thin gauge. For the life of me, I can not find a replacement. I've spent the past 4 or so hours searching google, ebay, mcmaster-carr....I'm not having much luck. So. Anyone know where Steve gets these things? Or anyone know of something that will work? I need two, one for my Duck, and one for the Redux. CD was a huge help already, but it appears I am more of a failure than I thought.

| Lever fund: $330.52/???? | I think Chaos mentioned something about that at EMR, but I really have no idea where to get an assortment of lawn sprinkler springs. Unless of course, I should just buy a sprinkler or two and get all smashy with them.

That's the same issue I had. I can find springs in the right length and diameter, but they're all some heavy duty springs. I have no qualms about smashing things to get what I need, though. Perhaps a trip to home cheapo is in order.

Tried 'em all. Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware, and a few little places. I'm running out of ideas, short of calling Steve. Or find one of these mysterious sprinklers, and remove the spring forcibly.

No need to get "smashy." Lawn sprinkler heads have a cap that unscrews. Keep trying this at your local hardware depots until you find a sprinkler head that has the size spring you need. Either buy it or inquire about replacement springs. |
