My Duck's feed tube is glued on. From what I can gather, it's also a former direct feed. You can see what's left of the feed tube, and how it was integrated into the SC feed. But it looks good and it seems to be holding on just fine, so I'm okay with it. And Velcor forbid it ever comes off, I have plenty of crazy glue haha!
But to answer your question DSA, my Duck won't feed if you over fill it either. Doesn't matter if the tube is closer to the body or not, it still jams up if I cram too much paint in there. I'll reload when I chamber the second to last shot, giving me a healthy 11+1 to send downrange. Same deal for the Redux.
I have a thought for the topic of extended barrels though. Many of us seem to agree that the extended barrel seems to be one of the key parts to get over 30 shots per 12g. Mine gets around 34 with it on there, and I never bothered to count with the standard barrel.
Considering the brass barrel Paintballer50505 just built me looks to be a bit longer than Mongo's extended barrels, you think I'll see a few more shots per cartridge?
