I have always used a return spring. I like how when you use the right spring it smooths the cocking out of the stroke. I love CCM's and carter's stroke when they have return springs. I personally don't like really lite pump strokes. I would rather have a stiffer more consistant stroke.

I like to be able to have one chambered at all times while playing. Especially with a duck/redux/boxgun or similar marker. You just never know when your running down the field and someone is right where you don't expect them to be.
