I have to be the downer here but I am dissapointed. Feeding characteristics aside people buy the redux/duckslides because of the look and badassery felling of the gun. Using the cci feedblock really takes from the look of the gun. If he wanted to make the slide not "pinch" he should have used customer feedback. He shoud have lurked around in this section and read anti pinch theads. He could have replicated cj's mod on a proto, found that it WORKS and kept the feedblock look. Just my thoughts.

I pinch 3-4 balls in as many months, and it is usually ME that does it, not my gun... I get excited sometimes, and try to do to much at once- especially when I'm trying to run up on somebody, and my Depends starts to slip off me Mongo |

The new DuckSlide "55D" was made to satisfy those who want to sight down the top of their DuckSlide- just like the Redux marker. I have used my prototype "55D" with a clear CCI feed, so I could identify any feed issues- the finished product will come with a rounded "1 pc feed" that looks like an aluminum cigar-tube feed 'ala dd68.. thus far there have been no feed issues for me. As some have pointed out- this will be very close to a "Duck" without the high price of one, and uses the tried and true Phantom from CCI as a base. It will be sold as a kit-- Slide assembly, feed, and custom CCI snub, or as a complete marker. I will post photos on my website of the prototype, and show the compatibility of the "55D" with VSC, rear dropout, or BBA air adapters- as always, Mike Casady has told me that if a new owner requests particular color- Mike can anodize the DuckSlide the same color as their Phantom- work it out with Mike at CCI pricewise- Mike's a great guy to offer this. Reviving an old thread, I was curious to see if any new information on offset fed duckslides is available?
