How do you think it compares to dukies contraption?

| Dive Dive Dive | They are quite different. This duckslide will be the closest to a redux. Dukies is basically a cosmetic extended pump handle because the feed is mounted to the body. Plus the angles at which the ball feeds is different I believe. Mongo is including a snub with this due to the angle of the feed being different from the standard CCI offset body. If I remember correctly that is.

Ahh, that makes sense. It being similar I am going to ask the big question. HOW DO YOU THINK IT FEEDS?/ IS THERE ANTI PINCH PROPERTIES!!! I am very curious! Thanks! ERic

I think it will be the same feeding wise maybe a little better. Due to the fact that the feed will sit on the slide on the body/snub. So there will be a bit of an area to stack a ball but I dont think as bad. Especially if you do the mod Wickedclown did to his duckslide.

| Immune to sales tactics. Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Canada's National Capital | Having handled Dukie's slide pump (DSP), there is no slop in the DSP it, at all. With the feed being fixed, it will not pinch, any more than a stock class Phantom. It adds slots for iron sights as well. Someone with a DuckSlide, old centre-feed or new offset, can comment on how theirs functions. |

The angle of the feed is something he worked on for a bit it seemed to feed better that the 30* offset. Referring to the term "slop," there has to be some side to side movement or the slide will scratch the trigger frame. On Dukies slide The pump can be tight because the whole thing is made of delrin not machined aluminum. I'm sure more info on the new 55* will be out soon including an ASA. | |
