Phantom89: was that a typo or did you really mean 33 shots at 365? (three-hundred sixty five feet per second???)

"36 usable"

There's been a lot of discussion of Nelson valve tuning for 12-gram efficiency lately with some of the latest posts in this thread:
http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/a...iciency-3.html

Not to diminish DSA's "forty seven", if we use "235fps" give or take as a minimum usable velocity under most conditions, 36 shots is about what a Redux should get, without a bunch of modifications.

Figure "three tubes" since the feed tube holds 12-13 and you'll be able to load two more 10-round tubes with impunity.

I'm quite enthusiastic a valve diffuser will push the usable shot count to "four tubes".

They came with the gun but if you want spares, they're standard Nelson springs. CCI Phantoms, Traccers, Mavericks, Nelspots, LineSI Bushmasters... anything with a Nelson valve will use the same spring type.

Correct me if I am wrong but maddman Autococker spring sets are also for use in nelson based guns. They can be found on ebay.
