C6, my setup is as follows. Red main, red valve, SSC fluted hammer, Woosh barrel. Factory everything else. Using Marballizers running .685-.687 through a stainless .684 insert, I pulled 43 shots off at what appeared to be acceptable velocity. Batteries dead in my chrono otherwise I'd give you exact numbers. Shot 44 was noticeably low, and it vented on 45. I think the longer woosh has a lot to do with it, I was getting in the mid to high 30's with the regular extended barrel. I think I can get a few more if I switch out to the BBA valve, but I haven't tried yet.

It's all well and good, but I still throw a new 12ie in at 30 regardless. But, hitting 50 shots would be suhweet!
what brand of springs are you using?

what is a SSC fluted hammer? i know what a fluted hammer is so my question isn't as dumb as it sounds. the SSC is throwing me off. who makes it?

what power tube came with your Redux? i know Steve has used different tubes before. don't know if he's changed. i forget what is even in mine.

SSC stands for Super Stanchy Customs. He is a relatively new machinist that popped up here in your absence and he sells fluted phantom hammers as well as other accessories.

Sniper is correct, I got the fluted hammer from Super_Stanchy. The springs are all standard CCI phantom springs that Mike uses, and the powertube is the factory #4 bored out to #6 specs. I know it sounds like an odd spring combo, but I've had nothing but success with it. Consistent across the board, and it doesn't really drop off until the last two or three shots. Seems like everyone has a different combo that works for them, though. This is just what I found to work the best for me.

DM6 your spring combo makes sense, hard hammer low dwell. I might have to give it a try.

I suspect that a stiffer cup seal spring would close the valve much quicker as well. So both would be my recommendation.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
