With the help of a friend, PMI 3 here on M.Carter Brown, the back-bottle valve was milled down today and installed on the Redux. Complete success! Gassed up with a 3.5 oz tank and it works perfectly.

PMI 3 has limited access to machine tools so, please, don't be pestering him to machine stuff for ya'!

Here she is with the 3.5oz and PMI 3's family of markers.

With the slide pulled back all the way and the pump return spring installed, this is as far back as it goes.

Ha ha! All year air.

Dude, looks great! I love the two tone in that lighting. May I make a recommendation to you...buy some new grips!!! You may think that those AAP rubber wraparounds are fine, but try some Hogue Palm swells. Those are absolutely amazing...regular Hogue wraparounds are nice too, or Pachmayr wraparounds can work too.

Does this mean that conversely a redux frame would bolt onto a nelspot?

Possibly but I wouldn't assume until tested.

The valve is compatible but the snub (aka "body") may or may not have holes drilled in spots that match a Nelspot rail and grip frame. If I see a Nellie around I'll give it a shot.

Sticky, please?

BUMP / EDIT. I'd done a major edit of the first post in this thread for clarity's sake.

Can we get this one stickied? I'll delete this reply if/when the thread gets stickied.
